I'm sure they do not get it for your liking. They might have got it for their liking. Don't spend too much time worrying about what others do.

Got one and feel very proud about it! It's not my biggest achievement in life but I like it, I like how it looks on me and that's all what matters.
Why do you let your her grow if most of women do? "That's soooo worn out" Try shaving your head so that you get to be "original". And if you wear earrings why don't you just take them off and go without them... too many have them and some of them can be tacky... it's sooooooo worn out!
Besides I think that there are many "tramps" that are not necessarily tattooed, so that's not required for being one or not.

I think you should know someone before you call their tattoo a tramp stamp - I mean who even says that? I have my lower back tattoo'd and I am in no way close to a "tramp". I just happen to love art and see the body as a beautiful clean canvas. Why not put something you love and enjoy on your body for all to see. For anyone who looks at it and does not like it, I just assume their jealous!

I have what you would call a "tramp stamp" but in no way do I consider it that. Its a big red bow, I love bows and I told my friend about a tattoo I saw of 2 bows on the backs of a girls leg on her calf. He said i picutre you with a big bow on your lower back. So the reason I have it there is only because thats where it looked good.

is someone forcing you to get one!?!?!?!?!
then what do you care???????
the only thing i see that is "worn out" is asinine questions like this ones!!!!
im glad you have your opinion of thinking that they are not attractive...and here is mine...i think they are VERY sexy on the lower part of the back...looking at a beautiful womans neck and all the way down her long curvy back and then seeing a beautiful piece of art at the bottom is extremely sexy!!!!!!

First of all, to the first person who commented - Are ya kidding me?? Please! Personally, I got mine there for 2 reasons - first because what I wanted was kind of big (dolphins jumping in water) and I needed somewhere that it would fit and second because it's somewhat inconspicuous and easy to hide in that spot. When i got it done I was teaching and didn't want to have some big 'ole tattoo on my arm or somewhere that my students would see it.

It stems from insecurity, wanting attention and reassurance that they're cool and sexy. Having a reason to show off some skin while rebeling a little at the same time.
My old roommate was the perfect example. She walked into a tatoo parlor, pointed to a meaningless black swirly shape, and had it tatooed on her lower back.
