If you don't understand that there isn't such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua, then you certainly shouldn't be breeding them. Especially with a male that's larger...unless you want to kill her!!

Yes, you can. However, as the other posters have so astutely mentioned, you will jeopardize the life of the pups and the mother. Also, teacups are not recognized by the breed standard and are generally runts produced by puppy mills and backyard breeders. They are not healthy, and should never be allowed to reproduce. Only dogs that are proven to be healthy, sound of mind, and have also proven themselves in conformation shows should ever be bred, and even then, it's not always the best idea. Consider getting your pup spayed, and adopting an abandoned chihuahua from the pound. if you want to 'experience' miracle of birth and have some cute pups running around the house for a while, consider fostering a pregnant dog.

it is not secure in case you are trying this you need to unfastened the tiny female, there is not any such ingredient as a teacup chihuahua in simple terms poorly bred, additionally be arranged for a $2000 c-area to get rid of the doggies, in the event that they at the instant are not bumped off the female will for sure die. additionally I even have been breeding Pomeranians for 3 years yet studied for 2 years previously breeding, I nonetheless learn in simple terms approximately on a regular basis I learn new issues no longer in simple terms on my breed yet many different AKC breeds, I now understand extra approximately various AKC breeds than maximum Vet's in my area, on no account could I even start to reproduce with out this documents, you would be able to think of what particularly is there to understand, have confidence me while you're severe approximately transforming into a breeder the checklist is on no account ending. I even have lost a good number of money being a to blame knowledgeable breeder, particularly I in simple terms had a vet invoice of over $1000 those days, I additionally spend over $a hundred a month on heartworm medicine alongside with flea and tick preventative, it relatively is for 7 canines, and that i understand many breeders with extra effective than 25 canines! Breeding isn't low-priced, and out of no the place there would be an twist of destiny or surprising well-being project and then we are talking hundreds of greenbacks you would be able to desire to have accessible! Please do no longer breed as you haven't any longer have been given any theory what you're doing, what the plausible outcomes must be, what the female could want, and while you're even thinking breeding a female decrease than 5 lbs than that already exhibits you do no longer understand a thank you to reproduce marvelous. the two a type of canines must be spayed and neutered as I think of neither of them are AKC registered and are not coming from huge backgrounds and don't meet or exceed AKC standards. know-how is priceless and please do no longer breed those canines.

your female should not be bred until she has competed in enough dog shows to prove she is an excellent example of the breed WORTHY of passing on her genetics and same with the male - reputable breeders breed SOLEY to improve the breed!!!

now... there is NO SUCH THING as a teacup Chihuahua, your dog is either a runt or a dog stunted through poor nutrition or poor genetics - she should DEFINATELY not be bred at all....

Chihuahuas often need ceasarians.. is it worth loosing her life for a litter of low quality pups???

A teacup is nothing more than a runt bred by an irresponsible breeder. Why on earth do you want to add to the problem?

This could bring up several problems with the dog. The amount of pups and the size could kill the mother because she is a tea cup, and the male is a regular sized.

NO. Teacup females should not be bred at all, but definitely not with something bigger than they are!

She could be seriously harmed in the mating process, or during delivery. Get her spayed.

CF - "Chihuahuas often need ceasarians.. is it worth loosing her life for a litter of low quality pups???"

I agree with CF!!!!! Also I have a 5 pound Chi - and my husband's cousin who is a vet told me not to breed her, because Chi's tendency to die when giving birth! It is very hard on them.

depending on what size your you smaller chi is, if she's under 4 pounds then no you shouldn't. a chi too small to have puppies could die because the puppies maybe too big, because you don't know if this other chi throws small or big puppies.
