My work means that I sometimes get dates from different calendars (e.g. Jewish or Islamic). Do you know a decent websites that will give me a straight comparison between these to the Gregorian Calendar? Thanks

I currently do not know of a website for it; but please be aware that there is not a 1 to 1 correlation between the calendars. The Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar (about 365.25 days) per year, whereas the Jewish and Islamic calendars are lunar calendars (about 28-29 days per month). The solar calender has a 'leap day'; whereas the lunar (at least the Jewish) calendars have what I presently think of as a 'leap month'.

this is a lunar calendar and starts from the date of the Hijrah (around 570 advert), mutually as the Gregorian calendar is a (recalculated) image voltaic calendar commencing from the delivery of Christ Jesus (Peace be upon him). In maximum Muslim international places the Gregorian calendar is used for place of work, company and faculties different than for the selection of non secular activities like the commencing up and end of Ramadan ( the fasting month) and the two Eids the place the Hijri calendar is used. wish this solutions your question.
