This is a very interesting observation. I suppose that is why I have never allowed my children to believe in Santa Clause, or the Easter Bunny or tooth fairy, or anything else that is not biblical. Not because Santa can be manipulated into Satan, but because there are not too many things on this earth that are Godly. Satan is the "prince" of this world. But not for long.

I have thought that for a long time. I used to say that Santa Clause was Satan's Cause. I felt that Santa was developed to take away the true meaning of Christmas. It seems to be working very well. I know that people thought that I was crazy, but once again I do not care what people think about me. I do care about my relationship with the Lord. Peace out.

in case you learn the history and mythology of Christmas and Santa Claus, you will locate that there particularly is something too this. it is not a accident that Santa Claus is stated as St. Nick and the devil is stated as previous Nick. It is going back to the branch between Catholics and Lutherans. Luther invented "Kris Kringle" or "Christ baby" (in German) instead concentration for Christmas. The Catholic St. Nicholas then became linked with devil as he took concentration far flung from Jesus (a concept nonetheless carried on on the instant by using Fundamentalists who oppose Santa Claus and the commercialization of Christmas).

If, as you put it, 'that when you turn the word around' ~
and we take it for granted that you mean 'around,' as in reversing it ~ then 'Santa' doesn't become 'Satan,' but instead becomes 'Atnas.'
"WoW"
So it does!!
......!......
I wonder, just what does an 'Atnas' do then?
Does it come to your house and steal Christmas presents from your kids then?
Someone might note that God when reversed becomes ~ now wait for it ~ don't rush ahead of me. 'Dog.'
Now I bet that came as a surprise to a few of you, eh!
Ok. Now we can go back to whatever we were all doing beforehand, and leave this to soak in to our universal psychi.
Sash.

Probably because you were too young to have originally seen it on SNL back in the 80s with Gilda Radner, back when Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy were still on the show.

Yes Santa is an anagram of satan, but evils is also an anagram of Elvis so there is no real magic here.

No, if you turn Santa around, you get atnaS.
What does this word mean? It looks proto-indoeuropean to me. It has been lost to time. Now we will never know the true meaning of Christmas.

well, sorry I'm going to be a bit of a smart **** now but your question is actually not true.
If you turned the words around you would get atnas but if you were to jumble the words then it would be Satan.
