i downloaded ie7 about a month ago but for the past 3 days i have had some trouble with it everytime i get a popup ,open a new page or close a tab my ie7 shuts down sayinf internet explorer encountered a problem does anyone know how to fix it

Sorry but IE7 is not stable. You need to uninstall it until MS fix the bugs. Nothing wrong with your PC.
In the mean time try an alternative browser like Firefox:

Go to windows update and check for any latest patches for installation. Uninstall after you have upgraded to IE7 is not provided.

Try downloading and reinstalling IE...you might have an older version.
