Why, of course it is!
The daughter only inherits one fourth of the property that her brother inherits three fourths of !?
A woman who is raped, needs to provide four Male Witnesses to the rape for her to be able to complain !?
Men may marry four women; but if a woman is found to be with even one other man other than her husband, then she's stoned to death !?
And there are many, many more wonderful things for women in Islam; but, I'm guessing this is more than enough to show how "Fair" and "Just" Shari'a and Islam is to women !?
Merry Crimbo!!!!

Its completly fair. Islam gave women the right to vote and to own property, have a right to education, work etc.. when then women in the rest of world didn't. A muslim womens money is hers and soo is her husbands.
This is for Ronin:
For a woman to prove rape, four adult males of "impeccable" character must witness the incident:
This a gross misunderstanding of this law. Like any civil law in the civilized world, Quran urges a proof beyond doubt for such a horrendous crime. Quran accepts a proof of a crime if the proof is beyond doubt, e.g. see 12:75. Therefore although the verses of adultery which is used in cases of rape are applied, a proof beyond doubt, e.g. DNA of the offender should be an acceptable proof instead of four witnesses in these cases. Insisting on four witnesses when the other proof is beyond doubt is NOT Quranic.
The woman inherits only half what a man can inherit:
This is a common misconception even among the traditional Muslims themselves. Quran gives the parents total freedom to give their children as much as they see fit even if this means giving the females double what the males would get. Quran, however, commands that if a will is NOT left, then the estate is distributed in such a manner that the son gets double what the daughter gets. Generally, the son is responsible for a family, while the daughter is taken care of by a husband or her family. However, the Quran recommends in 2:180 that a will shall be left to conform with the specific circumstances of the deceased. For example, if the son is rich and the daughter is poor, one may leave a will giving the daughter everything, or twice as much as the son.

From what I understand about Sharia Law, no. But the focus of Sharia Law is not aimed at 'fairness.'
From what I understand, Sharia Law is based upon the Hebrew Torah, a text that the same people say 'cannot be trusted' because of revision. So the Torah itself is banned while the Muslims who think that Sharia Law is justified, while at the same time deny the people the resource of seeing what it says (in certain Muslim countries).
This MIGHT make sense to Muslims. I believe that it reflects the typical lack of logic that Muslims are raised with. They ignore the wisdom that should belong to those that say they have the truth about God's will.
So in my opinion, Sharia Law is burdensome, based in errant thinking, thus; illogical, and a call for the people living under it to be subject to bondage through it's legalism.
It's yet another reflection of the inclusion of religion powered by the state, which historically speaking is another lesson not learn. The Inquisitions of Europe, and the harsh restrictions of the Anglicans and Roman Catholic Church, along with the Ottoman Empire, one must turn a blind eye to in order to accept Sharia Law.
