Yeah, but it's hell to find.
I have a great recipe for a mushroom artichoke dip that calls for it, but I can almost never find it.

Yes I have heard of it.
At medium high heat
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan
Add 2 tablespoons of flour. Whisk mixture until it bubbles.
Add 2 cups white wine. Whisk mixture to prevent lumps.
Lower heat to low add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce.
Continue whisking until sauce will coat the back of a spoon.

Lea & Perrins makes a white worchestershire sauce & marinade for chicken. It's a really good product.
