You can't "get rid of" a pinched nerve. You can manage the pain and keep it stable, but you can't "unpinch" it, unless you want to have surgery. And even then, it may not entirely take care of the pain.

I've had a pinched nerve in my neck/shoulder for over 4 years. The best way to deal with it when it's inflamed is to take ibuprofin (I recommend Motrin) every 4-6 hours, and keep your neck still. Put a heating pad on your neck and shoulders for a while, too. That'll DEFINITELY help. When you feel a little better, move your neck around a little bit--not too much. You'll slowly get range of motion back while the Motrin dulls the pain.

How long have you had your pinched nerve?

I dun think there is any quick way. Maybe you can sooth your muscles by messaging them or the best thing i do is to just lie on a pillow and dun try to move for 10 minsinutes or so, it allevates all the force and stress you put on your neck.
