Oh dear. Looking back on your past questions, you don't really know very much about raising dogs, training dogs, you've even asked a question about genetics. How do you think you are knowledgeable enough to embark on an endeavour such as dog breeding? Do you know how much is involved? How much time and effort and commitment? Do you know how much it costs? I would also suggest you go and get yourself a book on genetics or at least surf the web and check it out. You should know that you are not going to be able to breed a mutt and make more like him. You are not going to be able to start a new breed out of a total mutt. Not that I have anything against mutts, I have mutts as well as purebred dogs and I love them all to bits.
Starting a new breed? Go and contact the Canine Council and hear them laugh at you. I'm serious. Call them and ask them about it and hear what they say.
Oh by the way, is this the dog with agression problems you've asked about?

The chance of your mutt having even 1 puppy that resembles or has the same temperment as itself is 1 in a million, you can read more about breeding statistics in Bruce fogles book, the dogs mind. He gives a really good example of a tempermental show dog named alleghany sue that was breed poorly on purpose for science and her pups produced where 10 times worse than her, shuddering at the slightest loud noise. Making a new breed not everyone can do it takes 20 years of breeding or more by an educated breeder and getting it recognized as a breed by the AKC is next to nil. The AKC is very strict on breed standards and does not hand out papers to former mutts or off spring you would need an actual pedigree breed to start with.
I believe the labordoodle is now being considered as a seperate breed (the first breeding took place in the 70's) A blind woman who was allergic and needed a dog that did not shed out of the off spring only 3 puppies were considered to have the poodles allery reduced coat. In the 80's 2 organizations started up to protect the Labordoodles liniage and produce breed standards for them.

please don't breed your dog. You can't create a new breed, and there are already millions of "cute" mutts that are in need of a loving home. Do some research on how many animals are killed each year because they have no one to love them and give them a good home. If you want more cute mutts - go to your local humane society or animal rescue group and adopt one and add another member to your family that way. But be sure that all are spayed and neutered so that you are not adding to the unwanted pet population

First of all, I'm going to tell you what I tell everybody else that talks about breeding: Don't breed unless you have a clean pedigree and know what you are doing!!!!
Why would you breed your mutt?? so the 6 puppies you have from that litter can end up in a shelter?? Dont get me wrong, I have 2 mutts too and i would love to have more of them, but my mutts were both shelter dogs and there is no way i would want their babies to end up there as well. My pure bred rottweiler with papers is cute as anything too, and i'm not breeding him. why? So i can make a few bucks?? it's not worth it!
Do you have $1400 in case the dog needs an emergency c-section? Money to take care of the puppies for 8-10 weeks after they are born?
Like i said, There are enough mutts and puppies in shelters and pounds gettin euthanized every single day! Dont add more to that number!

Why are people such idiots? You want to breed your dog because he is so "cute". Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You are not going to be able to create a new breed. And no one is going to pay for your mutt puppies. So do everyone a favor and get your dog neutered.

Get the dog neutered. Because he is a mutt, you have no way of telling what his offspring would look like, much less act like.
There are already way too many mutts sitting in shelters and getting euthanized every day! By breeding your mutt, you contribute to this problem.

first start a waiting list for people who want puppies, and have back up.
Then find a male or female dog of your liking and I dont think your be able to start a new breed but you might get some cute puppies.and on here people are going to say some rude things dont pay no mind to them.they wouldnt say it to your face AND we know why!but please remember if you allow puppies to be brought in to this world its your responsibility to find them good homes and to see that they are taking care of.good luck
