i want to know how would intraperitoneal injection affect drug bioavailability.

If it was intravenous, then the drug would be dispersed over the body in a short period of time. If it is injected intraperitoneal, then the drug has to be adsorbed into the blood or endocrine system in order to be dispersed. The level of the drug could be locally high, but not at the target organ. This would act as a time release.
