My infant son of 10 months has a running nose all the time..even if we live in a city where there is not much cold...You doint even require a sweater in the day...may be early morning there is bit cold....Can it be because we use chemical -based mosquito repellant (vaporizer) ?

I would stop using that repellent immediately, he could be having a serious allergic reaction to it. Try to use another form of repellent and see your doctor a.s.a.p. to check the baby out., he could also develop a respiratory problem, so don't wait any longer.Good Luck

My first question is: Have you told your pediatrician?

Make sure the room is as clean as possible, not fur toys, no carpets, and yes, a vaporizer or humidifier would help. If this continues, take him to an allergist. My 10 year-old son was diagnosed with allergies to dust after many years of sneezing and now he takes Cingular 5mg on a daily basis and it works great!

Maybe there is a polyp somewhere in the nasal cavaity. Do you smoke around him? You really need to see a Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist. Dont take to heart any info you get here. GO SEE A DOCTOR!

sounds like allergies, but being so young the doctors probably won't do much because they outgrow them.
