my efc was 0 and i was approved for a pell grant but the school didn't send in the receive the money so they tell me i was approved for the grant but for some reason they don't have the money. So what do i do who do i need to talk to higher up. THis is a privately owned career college so there is no dean just the owner and there are the ones who are telling me this. I feel like it isn't my fault. Have anybody else experience this

they are able to accept funds. in this was for the 05-06 school year and now its over and they just now want to tell me and its now the 06-07 school year and i am not elgible for another pell grant this year. Its like i didnt get the pell grant that would have covered all my school tution besides the loan i took out

call the dept of Higher Education and talk to them..they deal with getting the schools the fa and controlling whether they continue to be able to keep getting the aid or not..if the school is screwing with you, they are other students and they can lose their ability to accept aid..they can lead you in the right direction. It's probably in the schools bank account drawing interest but I would call DHE and see where to go from here..If you wait much longer, the money won't be given to you..it will be forfeited.

First you need to make sure that this is a school that receives Federal Student Aid. It sounds like it may be one who doesn't. Most career colleges are not able to accept federal aid because of the fact they do not meet the faculty requirements. Go to www.ed.gov and see if your school is able to acceppt federal aid money.

I DONT THINK THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO NOW, BUT YOU SHOULD CALL EDFUND, THEY CAN PROBABLY HELP YOU OUT, CALL EDFUND, AND THEY THEM YOUR SITUATION, EDFUND!
