Forgive, or do not.

Stand in the sun, and close your eyes, or not.

God loves you for who you are, not what you do.

To be a follower of Christ; feed the hungry, clothe the naked, nurture the sick, educate the ignorant, defend the helpless

Or not.

Why does God forgive my sins?

God does not see you as a sinner. This is nonsense made up by religion to control people.

Should I forgive?

Anger is like a hot coal held in the hand with the intent of throwing it at someone. You are the only one being burned by it.

What about someone I am still angry with? Can I be a Christian if there is someone I am angry with or cannot forgive?

Jesus said, be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Can you do the opposite of what Jesus ask of you and be a follower of Jesus?

Love and blessings Don

You must learn to forgive others their trespasses just as God forgives yours. Sometimes this is very hard but you must turn the anger you feel over to Him. As they say lay it at His feet and walk away. Don't reach back and put a piece back into your pocket but leave it all with Him. This does not mean that you will forget what has happened but you must forgive. Anger can fester into hatred which then turns into bitterness. This will rob you of happiness. Let go of the anger and hurt and leave it in Gods hands. Remember when someone hurts you and you can find it in your heart to forgive them that makes you the better person.

If we repent of our sins and ask forgiveness; God will forgive.

We are also supposed to forgive those we believe wronged or sinned against us.

In the words of a kahuna.

Each of us have lifeforce energy that Chinese call ch'i, Hawai'ians called mana, India and Tibet calls Prana, etc.

When you hold a grudge against someone you are wasting time, and your very lifeforce that could be used for so many different things such as living life to it;s fullest, Healing your body, healing others; trying to make the world a better place.

When you get so angry at someone; and let them get in your head the way this person has done for you; Who is winning? The person you hate has won because he or she is not wasting their time and lifeforce on you.

It says to forgive. It also says you must forgive people who sin against you, so that God may forgive your sins. It's a "do onto others as you have them do unto you" type thing. To your final question... Absolutely! Time and the love of Jesus heals all wounds. Blessings to you!

We are to be like Christ and forgive like he forgives us, but I know sometimes I get in the flesh,(which is quite often) and its hard for me to forgive. I am having a hard time with my grandmother right now. She treats my mom and us kids like we are nothing to her. She does things to my mom that really hurts her and has done things to me that has hurt me. But sad thing is she doesn't know she is doing this. I have wanted to talk to her but my mom says I cant. So I have hard feelings toward my grandmother right now and can't forgive her. All I can say is pray and ask God to help you deal with that problem like I need to as well.

Forgiveness = letting circulate of your bitterness and anger. in accordance to the Bible, we are to forgive. Ephesians 4:32 announces, “Be type and compassionate to a minimum of one yet another, forgiving one yet another, in simple terms as in Christ God forgave you.” further, Colossians 3:13 declares, “undergo with one yet another and forgive in spite of grievances you have got against one yet another. Forgive by using fact the Lord forgave you.” the foremost in the two Scriptures is that we are to forgive others, as God as forgiven us. Why can we forgive? by using fact we've been forgiven!
