Is there a certain limit below some certain age that`s just TOO young?

Ex.) International Schools. Is Jr. High or High School too young going to a different country alone? Or does it just depend on the maturity of that child and the way they can handle change?

I think that when a person gets to the teen's that their is alot of un-certainity in who they are and where they are going in life,,,,and it causes alot of confusion,,,,,their are all kinds of parents in this world and they all have different rules and values in each home,,,,,and this sets the whole stage as to where and when and what our children do,,,,,,I do not think a child should leave home until they are out of school (H/S) and maybe college,,,,depending on the maturity of the child,,,,,but,,,we have to instill maturity and responsibility in children at an early age,,,to prepare them for college, and life,,,,,,but their does come a point in life that we do have to let them go,,,,and I feel that their is no set age to leave home,,,,,now if they are grown and in their late 20's and have a job,,,,,that they do need to experience life,,,,without mommy and daddy,,,,and go out on their own,,,,,everyone has to grow up some time,,,,but we shouldn't force them to grow up at an early age,,,,before they are ready,,,, and I guess that all depends on their age, and their role models,,,,,their self-esteem,,,,and their coming of age,,,,the world today is a very hard and confusing place,,,,,and I am a mother of two beautiful boys 6 & 7 and they can stay at home with me until they are ready to leave,,,,I will not make them leave,,,,and I do allow them to be children,,,, when they are 16 they will have jobs,,,,a car,,, and responsibilities,,,,,like paying their own insurance,,,,buying some of their own neccessities,,,,and helping with their daily chores around the house,,,,and will have a curfew,,,,but some of their friends will not have those responsibilities,,,,and it will cause problems with me as far as fairness to them,,,,and I'm sure I will be told I am not like so and so's mom,,,,but that is ok because if they take 3/4 of what I have tried to instill in them when they do decide to leave,,,,than I know that as a parent,,,I did my best to teach them rules,,,and values,,,and hope they keep those values when they do leave home,,,,,I don't really know if their is a best age to leave,,,I am a mom and it scares me to death to know my boys aren't at home, and under my care,,,,,but will give me comfort in knowing that I have done my best to show them the way,,,,and hope they have learned,,,,,,,some children don't have a say so in their futures,,,and that is sooo unfair,,,,and it is a shame when you watch the news every night,,,,and see how much violence and crime is in our world,,,soo much hate,,,and you ask when is to soon to leave home,,,,,to me anytime is too soon to leave home to go into a world that we,,,,the parents,,,,from generations back and present ,,,, have created for our children,,,,,,,that is the shame,,,,,, especially for us parents that try so hard to make our world a safe place,,,,,,and no matter how hard we try,,,,,cannot!!!!

For ever one it is different. In my opinion as soon as you are able to financially support yourself, around the ages 18 to 25. I do know someone that choose to leave home at a young age, because his home life was really bad.

Depends on what kinda job you have to support yourself. Also, depends on if you're ready to face all the responsibilities... Can't say there's a certain age.

If they are in their early teens and not moveing out to stay with other family then untill they are 18,it's really too young...

it depends on dependable you are. you can leave at 18 because its legal but if you dont think you can make it alone leave later
