My son is 16yr. He has ODD. He is currently in a foster home transitioning for the 2nd time to a higher level care facility. I am interested in him going to a school that deals specifically with ODD. But the schools range from $1500 a month to $400 a day! Do you know where i can find a grant that may help cover his school expenes?

Talk to the schools themselves. Once you explain your situation, they may have programs to lower the cost for people who can't afford the service, much like lots of people get discounts on the cost of education at Harvard and MIT. Schools are in a better position to ask for government grants than individuals are, so they may be willing to take on your son to help qualify for a grant.

As someone who is in foster care, he may qualify to have his college or vocational training expenses covered by the Education and Training Voucher Program, Orphan Foundation of America Scholarship or a state waiver program. I do not know of anything before that.
