in another state last November-the wedding was postponed.
we were supposed to take a vacation this january together but he e-mailed me to tell me that his cousin wedding was going to take place in January. He said: "I don't know what the program is yet". What does that mean? Does it mean he may ask me to go? Too soon to feel comfortable asking him if he's taking me. He said we can go to the islands for vaca at a later time.
Is this a bad sign?

Sounds almost like he's hedging his bets.
He doesn't want to go alone to the wedding and face it, I've known many who have asked a "friend" to a wedding as a way to get deeper into the relationship or to cut it off all together as the two are just on seperate pages.
It is up to you. If you have the time and are interested, go for it. If you're not interested, don't go.

I think he HAS a wedding, and he REALLY doesn't know when the day is, and he may not be even thinking at all about inviting you, so don't panic.
Why won't you ask him to contact his cousin and get the dates sorted out, so you two can sort your holiday together in a different day.
