Hurt stays a long time, no matter what you do. But if you allow the hurt to control your life, it only makes things worse.
If you have a hobby, or a special interest, then it would be a good idea to pursue it.
Before you know it, you will forget about that jerk, and be happy with your life.
Your going to get hurt, allot, especially in personal relationships.
It's what you choose to do with that hurt that will change your life and outlook on life.
You have to decide what to do with that energy, unpleasant as it is, that's been unpleasantly passed on to you.
In other words, emotion is an energy, use it to your advantage, and keep it positive.
Dress up, go to the movies(watch a funny movie), shopping, what every you want. Just make sure it's not negative, like eating til you pop. Food is the worst stress reliever.
You'll be fine, just redirect that negative energy, and make something positive out of it.

Be glad he is gone and don't dwell on it really! The best cure for something like that is to realize that no one has the right to treat you that way and now that they are gone you are not their victim anymore. If you don't move on they win. Some people can do this on their own by reaffirming how important and special they are to themselves above the menace but some including myself have had to have help, someone to talk to and help root out where the hurt is coming from and how to make it better. I can't promise that it will be the same as before the jerk but it can get better! Hugs!

Getting rid of that pain is better now, then getting rid of physical pain on top of it. Don't get caught up in a abusive relashionship because you think there's nobody out there for you. There's someone for everyone, that's natures' balance. Cheer up and move on, you'll find him.

Hello, I'm sorry about your misery, but fortunately your lucky... This "x" of yours was a real loser, your lucky to be ride of him and his childish ways. Be strong and engage yourself in something creative and stimulates your mind. Meet new people, STAY AWAY FROM BARS. Change your cell phone number. I promise you..that the pain will go away as soon as you convince yourself that YOU are better without HIM (LOSER BOY)..
