Did anyone see 60 mins last night about new info on the holocaust?

Germany has released tons of records there were kept by the Nazi's pertaining to the jews.

There was a man that was interviewed who was 13 when he was in the concentration camp. He saw his entire family murdered. He looked at his 'papers' from the Germans. There was a string of numbers at the top of his papers, it was the same numbers tattooed on his forearm!
Amazing that so many think this didn't happen...all made up, amazing.

Doesn't surprise me. Though I find it odd that they just now bring this out right when Iran had it's summit on the Holocaust. Something that does surprise me though are the other answers. The number given "9 Million" was not the count for the Jews alone. The Jews were a main target, but not the only target. (I guess a lot of these people don't READ up on this kind of thing and just watch clips on the History Channel). Yes, they were after anyone who did not have blonde hair and blue eyes AND wasn't ARYAN. There were plenty of people who had blonde hair and blue eyes and were killed in the Concentration Camps because they weren't ARYAN. *Sigh* If you read up on the Aryan's they were at "war" with the Jews constantly, claiming the Jews were the children of Satan, etc... These are also the people that give us that weird doctrine of how Eve slept with Satan and had Cain. And Hitler was one of these people. Himmler, his second in command, was the one who came up with the Concentration Camps to begin with as well as the experiments on twins. Read History people.

And here, in these other answers, you've got people supporting that. Supporting Genocide by saying "well, it wasn't just the Jews he was after... a shame he didn't get more of them". I guess so long as it isn't your family or your "race" or culture, then it's ok to wipe out other people. All because you don't like them. Now that has to be one of the most pathetic things I have EVER seen from people.

This might be a weird way of thinking of it, but I am constantly amazed by the stuff that evil or stupid people do. I mean, after reading the story, what struck me wasn't the fact that this was done but the fact that they meticulously documented it. I mean, how many killers keep detailed diaries about who what where when why and how, along with the weapon used, 'souveniers' of the crime, and the daily planner with the schedule of their next victim? Even when I swiped cookies when I was younger, I was smart enough to wipe the crumbs off my mouth, and not leave huge choclate marks on my face. Such stupidity such VAST stupidity can only be attributed to the work of 'goodness' in the world. Good will always win out, because evil people are DUMB enough to let everyone else know it, lol.

No serious people are saying that this did not happen.

What They are saying is, how does the fact that this happened justify the genocide being perpetrated on the Palestinian people now by Israel?

Over 50 Million people died as a result of WW2. 20 million of them were Russians. Why do we never hear anything about this. Why are there 30 documentaries a month about the Jews who died and 0 about any one else.

Sadly this is because it idea of the Holocaust is being used to cover up genocide happening as we speak.

The Germans killed Jews because they wanted there land and they hated them.

The Israels Kill Palestinians because they want their land and they hate them.

We can't do anything about something that happened 60 years ago, but we can stop the killing that is going to happen tomorrow.

There indeed was a holocaust! Millions were killed! I was beyond your possible imagination. If you really want to know, look up some of the 65- whatever ages are still alive , look at pictures of the truth. Go to Germany to the extermination camps.

You young lady are so misinformed and cause so much pain to those whose family did live, and die while enduring what the truth is.

I don't understand why anyone would think it wasn't real... Every history book I've had since I was in 5th grade had disgusting pictures of burnt victims and piles of bodies in the street from the Holocaust.

There can't be anything more real than to see thousands of bodies piled one upon the other waiting to be covered with dirt. If there are any doubts, then I ask what were the gas chambers and ovens for...baking pies?

The holocaust didn't exist.

Anyways I hate the jews claiming it was a holocaust of jews. Dumb asses it was a mass killing of anyone who wasn't blonde, blue eyed, or anyone hitler didn't like. It didn't just stop at jews.
