Alot, my husband had terrible allergies, after we started using a hepa filter he now is breathing much better, and his allergies are down to once a year in the spring. Hope this helps you, also I heard that the quadra was better than the hepa but it is just a little pricey for us. We're happy with the results.Good Luck.

i have asthma and copd, congestive heart failure, along with lots of allergies, and other health issues. i am 54 and i swear by my machine, it helps to make the difference between breathing and smothering for a breath of air
