I am 56. Raised in a Christian home. Became a Christian myself 26 years ago. Never heard of stoning anybody for anything.
Jesus told the Pharisees, "Whoever is without sin, let him cast the first stone."

Just found out? From whom? Have you grown up in a Christian culture? Have you ever heard of this happening? Don't you live in a neighborhood with churches?
Get a clue. There is not any obligation or even a hint at stoning to death anyone who doesn't believe in God. Who ever told you that probably knew your were a gullible ninny who would buy a pet rock or chia pet.

I think you read that in an answer on here.
Please dont be moved to beleive everything you read on here is true. People have their own agendas (yes, even me!)
the bible contains references to people being stoned and references to what should be done to to non-believers, but it is worth remembering that the bible was written in a very different time to that in which we now live and should be interpreted in context. Not all messages in the bible should be taken literally.
Also, the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament are in some respects meant to supercede the angrier and more damning passages in the Old Testament.
Esseintially there are two things to believe:
Love Thy Neighbour
Love the Lord your God with all your heart.
I dont think God would want us to hurt anybody for not believing!
A CHRISTIAN IS NOT OBLIGATED TO STONE SOMEONE TO DEATH FOR NOT BELIEVING. I PROMISE!

You're making fun of Christianity ?
As far as I know, it's people who believe in the God that Christians preach about who are stoned.
There are no records of ppl being stoned for not believing in God.
Anyway you said god in small caps and not God, so I assume you're just confused for trying to be funny .

I guess you got that from Jesus, who said 'he who is without sin cast the first stone'.
Stoning was advocated in the OT for several offenses.
Such as, 'if you have a rebellious child, you should take him/her outside the city and stone him/her to death.
Try that today and see where you wind up.
God said love your enemies, to good to those who curse you.
You need to stick to answering question, you have a good record at that.

That is not true.......someone is lying to you.
There are LOTS of people who spread false information to lead people such as yourself astray.

Where did you get that information from? You should turn to the
Bible for how to live your life and you wouldn't run into problems like that.
