Pet urine smells can stay in your carpet/furniture for a long time if not cleaned properly. Your dog can smell the spots even if you can't. You can neutralize pet urine stains (new or old) by soaking them with plain white vinegar. The vinegar is an acid, whereas pet urine is alkaline. The vinegar, if used properly, should neutralize the pH and prevent your dog from peeing there ever again.

Like said before, use white vinegar to clean the area so he/she doesn't smell their "mark" and continue to use the same area. Also, try the pee-pads that you can get at any pet store. They usually work pretty well. If the dog is using the bathroom near the door, that means that it wants to get outside, but can't. Try putting the pad there, or wherever it's using the bathroom to show him/her that is where to use the potty.

i'm not sure exactly what you're asking here lol. do you simply want to stop your dog peing in the house? or does the dog pee in your bathroom after YOU have used it first? i presume this dog is male?
if its the former, theres lots on info on here about house training dogs.
if its the latter, he's doing it to "stake" his territory - you are his, and he's marking your scent with his - neuter him, it might help. possibly too you might simply have a dog who thinks if you can pee there, so can he... lol

Don't clean the area with an ammonia based products. That will just encourage more urination in that spot. Go to Petco or some other local petstore and ask for something to help remove urine and the smell. Unless you remove the smell they will treat that as their little latrine. Here's a link to Petco for a list of products.

If your dog isn't properly house trained you will continue to have accidents. If you are away from house for long periods, consider crating dog while gone until training is complete. It takes time and love and patience, especially if dog is adult.

Dogs don't like pooping in their space. They'd rather
feel the breeze blowing on their butt. Just let them out
at regular times, morning and right before bed at least.
