You mean apart from potential death? Don't know what is it money wise and I think it's also points on your license (in the UK)...

I live in Mississippi and I think the fine for no seatbelt is like $200. Probably depends on what county you are in and what kind of mood the policeman is in.

Never mind the fine, just belt up, it protects you if your in an accident. It might be a bit restrictive, but so is death.
