No it isn't. They are 2 different kinds of tissue. What does happen though is that if you build up a lot of muscle and then don't keep using them, they begin to atrophy and they will lose their tone and firmness. That will make it look like fat because it just hangs and has no definition.

No, its not possible for muscle to go to fat or vice-versa, because muscle cells can produce only more muscles and the same applies to fat. However, a change in lifestyle or diet, or both, can cause muscle to atrophy, (waste away) and be replaced by fat tissue, giving the impression that the muscle is turning to fat.

Muscle doesn't turn to fat, it atrophies. Basically, it shrinks and the body stores fat where the muscle used to be.
Fat won't turn to muscle either. When you start excising, the fat burns off to replaced by muscle.

i dont think so , i'm also not sure , but i think that it cant , because will grow with protein and gym and become smaller from lack of gym or over worked one in the gym! fat and muscul are 2 diffrent things , fat is around the muscul , if you eat fat products then you'll just put on fat, if you et proteins youll put on muscul, look on the back of your food products and try not to pass fat over protein! example , 5 chocolates 45 grams of fat one can of tuna 25 grams of protein 2 grams of fat ! witch would you rather want?
