i have a budget of 20k max... withn this i want a very good quality digi cam. sony would be a safe bet but i'm not sure whether it would be the best one too... also are 3ccd cams available within this price range? if yes, are they worth it ? i already have a memory stick pro duo... so buyin a sony would go a bit easy on me.

Pick one that uses SD memory cards. They are the most used by camera companies. Choose a camera that uses Li-ion batteries (they are the state of the art batteries for digital cameras), IS, a good optical zoom, high ISO ratings and a high pixel count on the sensor will help you achieve some great images
