Any disorder of eating is an eating disorder. If it causes you anxiety like that than of course it is. Your appetite turns off and doesn't work so well after you haven't eaten much for a while. Look for other signs maybe to tell you when you need something to eat. A headache or weariness or something. There's nothing wrong with only eating a little as long as it is enough for your body to function efficiently. Food is needed to help hair grow and wounds heal and your brain work etc. If you study up on food and find out exactly what your body needs than you can still only eat a little but make sure it is of the right things.

I think you certainly sound as if you have food issues, or at least an unhealthy attitude towards food and eating. You would probably benefit from some counseling in the area, and perhaps a visit to a registered dietician to help you determine what a healthy balanced diet for you would be. You don't mention any of the things which would lead me to believe you actually have developed a full blown eating disorder, but you are most certainly only a step away from one. Before you do anything that would be detrimental to your health and well being, you should seek out help to assist you developing healthier attitudes towards food and eating.
