I recently restored my PC to setting a few moths ago but rather foolishly forgot to burn pictures and music to cd’s before I did that and of course I’ve lost all the files. I’ve tried using search and recover software which has been useful in terms of recovering some files, i.e emails etc but sadly not the more precious stuff i.e pictures and music.

Can any one help, please.

Download Active@ Undelete. You can grab the free trial and it will tell you if it can recover anything and then you can buy the full version - something like $40 but very much worth it.
