I believe that this is thought of at this time of the year for two reasons...the year is coming to a close and it causes us to reflect on the past year and because of the Christmas holiday (Christ was a loving man).

I couldn't tell exactly how many times I've done it. I'd hope it was actually more times than I'm able to count.

Never, why the heck would I be any different at Christmas than the rest of the year. I like the lights and the food, if there is a party I like that too but the rest fo the stuff is a bunch of crap, I don't need a fictious Birthday to make me act properly for a couple of days; I act properly towards the less fortunate all year round.
