Contact a doctor for health concerns. I don't think you'll have a problem.

The Australian Embassy issues travel visas. Also consult them for advice.

You don't mention whether it's just for a visit or you are going to be living over there for a while (whilst your husband works) but if it's for just a visit (whilst your husband attends a business meeting) you can travel to Australia regardless of whether you are pregnant or not. Remember though you will need a visa - if from one of the eligible countries (UK, Ireland, most of EU, Canada) you can apply online for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority. I got mine through the Australian Visa Bureau http://www.visabureau.com/australia/travel-visa.aspx

If travelling over there to join your husband for a few years or something whilst he works (or looking to migrate) you may need to undergo medical and character checks as part of the visa process. I found some info here http://www.visabureau.com/australia/visa-health-requirements.aspx which basically says Australian immigration may request x-rays and health checks until after the child is born.

You should be asking the people who give out the visas. They should be able to tell you the answer. The only thing I know is that women who are 8 months pregnant or more aren't supposed to travel by plane.

Why would this affect your ability to get a visa? In Oz, just being born in the country does not make you a citizen or give you any rights to any citizen benefits. So I'm not sure why they would care.

It is normally OK to travel safely pregnant in your early trimesters. I think it around your 6month that doctors discourage it. I still would check with your doctor first just in case.
