a gift certificate is the best gift you can give someone you don't know what to buy. This year I'm giving candles with hand made doilies to all the women on my daughters list (bus driver, teacher's assistant, school secretary, etc) (I went with pink--i'm kinda big on the breast cancer awareness thing this year) Her teacher (a man) is getting homemade cappuchino, hot cocoa, and international coffee mixes with a couple of coffee mugs and candy canes. The women's gifts were no more than $7. each. The coffees were a little more BUT I have sooooo much ingredients left over that I get to make some for me too.:):) Dollar stores are wonderful places to pick up little nick nacks that make great gifts. Good Luck Have a Gr8 Christmas

My son is just over a year and his main present from us is a wooden train set as he loves Thomas the Tank . My daughter is 3 and we got her a Leap Frog learning pad set , she is very bright and loves to learn new things. When I think back to my Christmas presents when I was a kids it is so different from now, kids are so spolit! We were happy with anything we got, it may not have been high tech and expensive but we were grateful for what we got.

Santa is bringing them this big fort that you can take apart and reassemble any way you want. He is also bringing them a super garage that comes with diecast cars. They're going to go nuts over both. In their stockings the oldest will get a movie, PS2 game and a bit of candy. The youngest is getting a movie, gameboy game and a bit of candy. They're each getting a board game from us. We're a total board game family so they'll be excited to see new ones.

My 11 year-old is getting a fab biker's jacket. Yes, clothes... He knows and he's thrilled about it. What a gem!
One year, he must have been 6, I got him a new duvet & pillow set (with a lion as a print), which he needed; I could not afford anything more apart from little bits and pieces... He was absolutely over the moon!
Hope yours are as grateful and rewarding as mine.
Happy Christmas!

My daughter is two, and she is getting a miniature goat, to go along with Moo Foo Poo the Kangaroo (actually a PSG dressage horse, that wife rides) Lollipop (brood mare), Freddie Dead fin (fish), Dollydog, Joeydog, Billy & Burp (Budgies), Morris (mouse). She loves animals. And my son is one, and he's getting a ball pit. Trying to keep the toys to a minimum, as we just dropped off 9 boxes of toys to the church. Grandparents spoil them rotten.
