I am in civil engineering right now. Sometimes I think a would like to teach math out in some village in India away from the "civilized" world and/or be a missionary. Sometimes I get tired of all the details. Where I work is pretty stuffy. Math is like fundamental and theory to me is much more interesting, but civil engineering can be used to help people in different important ways too.

Best is nowadays, to reinforce the qualification with MBA, and then look around! There are exciting prospects in Civil Enggand Computers, as well!
