NO. Men always want sex. Have no doubt about it. If he wants to be "just friends", it means he wants to bone you at the first chance he gets.

Well, most of my friends are male and well of course sometimes there's the idea of why search for a guy if there are plenty of good ones around you...BUT this is never a serious thought!
Friendship of opposite sexes can work but both sides have to find out where to stop. My best male friend is like my older brother we meet alone at his place very often but we both know that there's this step we both will never make!

Yep, they sure can.
I have a friend that I've known for a couple years longer than my wife. I've been married 17 years.
When my friend wanted to go to clubs to dance or something...she would ask my wife if she could 'borrow' me for a night. We danced liked crazy, drank and just have a good time. My wife has gone with us many times but sometimes she stays at home. I love my wife and she knows our relationship.
She is a special friend to me as well as I am to her.
It's great to have a good friend that is of the opposite sex...talk about anything openly including sex.
Sure, we have been accused of things that are not true because people can't understand that we are just friends.
There is a line though...cross it and forget about "just being friends". It has happened with us...coming close to crossing the line but the fear of losing a good friend over something like having sex together isn't worth it.

Yes, if neither are attracted to each other in the romantic or sexual way (ie. no chemistry). I have a close buddy who is also a great friend. And though we get along well as friends, the chemistry is just not there on both sides... so we are able to be "just friends". He is a great guy (there's nothing wrong with him) and no doubt he will make a girl very happy one day :)

No it can works really...i had a good friend who was single, smart, goodlooking, funny and caring..and that time i was a single too. The spark...isnt there. Chemistry might be there (we get along as best friends)..but not the spark and affection.
Sometimes you really meet someone who is really great..and you think: he/ she will make someone happy in the future...but it wont be me:)
Ps. Im attached now, he is also attached. We are still buddies:)

In a boy-girl friendship there is no saying which direction it will eventually go. My feel is its likely to lead to being lowers. However, there are boys and girl who eventually remain as friends when one of the sexes got married.

Sorry you are wrong love is different from lust and sex and it can exist between not only with humans but with animals also. One loves his dog very much, another loves his cat very much, similarly one guy and one girl can love each other very much but totally devoid of any sexual emotions & lust. Therefore never categorise or be under fallacy of love means a sexual relationship.
