Without the ozone layer (which is being destroyed by the carbon monoxide that we pump out from burning fossil fuels) the sun will create the "greenhouse effect" that we know as global warming. Global warming will slowly cause the weather to change, bringing enormous disaster to all humanity through floods, drought, famine and the loss of animal life.

Solar energy is the very key to life on earth, including plant life, animal and human life, all of which depend on sun's light and energy for sustaining many aspects of their existence on earth, or, 'under the sun'! For a proper research, you need to do a good search first and select the matter that you want to read and digest and then base your project work on. There are a few web sites available, it would be exciting and enjoyable for you to go on to them and do your reasearch/reading: good luck!
