A nugget is a small rock.
A nugget of gold is considered a small treasure.
A nugget of knowledge or information would be a small hint with big potential that someone gives you. (like a small fact that is a BIG answer on a test)
**Oh yes, and if someone calls you a "butt nugget" they are referring to little nuggets of feces.

McDonald's market something called chicken McNuggets.....finger food that you can dip into a sauce the flavor of your choice.
the other nugget is a mineral, usually gold, shaped similar to a tear drop.
