It's called persecution. They hate Jesus and therefore hate us as believers. Jesus said let not your heart be troubled. This must come to pass.

Philippians 1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
1:30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
All Christians will be persecuted to a certain degree, some of us more so than others. Even in the USA, the "land of the free" Christians are persecuted. All you have to do is take a look at this site and see that Christians are persecuted daily. What those who persecute us don't realize is that we rejoice when we are found worthy to be partakers of our Lord's sufferings. Persecution is one of those sufferings. Peace.

Imagine this; your parents are very religious, attending church every Sunday, being a good Christian etc., and they raise you that way and one day you come to your parents and tell them that you have converted to Islam. I think they would not react differently from Muslim parents. They would be worried about their child. And to accept that your child chose a different (in their eyes a wrong way) to worship God would be very difficult for them.

Mark 13: 9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
