First of all brother your question is incorrect. In the early church there was only one Christian faith that being the Catholic faith. It was the Catholic Church guided by the Holy Spirit that chose the books you find in most Bibles today. Catholics are Christians my friend! Without the Catholic church there would be no Christians. It is a shame my friend like you say that every tom, dick and harry wants to set up his own church and say "Alleluia!". This causes division. In the early church this was not so - there was only the Catholic Church.

Christianity is a world domination plot a bunch of white guys in Europe at some point came up with, it is nothing more than that.
Old white guys are being phased out.
Remember Bulworth's plan? That is what we need to do. By we, I mean the whole world.
Like a camel through a needles eye, only people who are not rich should get to go to heaven. The ones who are rich get higher clouds on which to sit when there. I am going to hell and I know it. I cannot wait. I expect for some old acquaintances to be there. I am looking forward to seeing them again.
These Christians, especially the old white ones: they know they can't take their money or their power with them. Let's let the stupid old white men, curmudgeons, saints or whatever, phase themselves out naturally? Their life expectancy is relatively low.
I'm white, by the way! and young, and a woman! :) And I'm happy. I'll be happier when the old white Christians are gone for good.
This is the Age of Aquarius. This is the Age of Reason. Be happy that you're alive--there might not have ever been a better time to be alive in the World, on the Earth, today.

The job of Christians has never been to convince, but rather to expose people to the truth so they may choose whether to believe. Also, the goal was never to unite us. It seemss fewer people see 'religion' as beneficial these days, but mankind would not be where he is today without it, besides, a loving God would never abandon the world and let us scrap Him out of our lives.

Christianity is not a religion, to your surprise. Christianity and Religion are two completely different things. Religion is a set of regulations, norms, and tradition that is set by a group of people to touch heaven by basicaly doing good. While Christianity is a personal relationship between God and mankind.
I will explain two biggest difference : first, in a religion you have to do good to be able to go to heaven. While in Christianity, We go to heaven only by grace, not by doing good. God is holy, and no one can see God without holiness. But who is holly ? Everyone sins. And those who have sin they can't go to heaven, but hell. We make mistakes with our mind, our words and our deeds. Therefore Jesus Christ have to died on the cross to redeem us from our sin , He died for the sinners. This is the first difference.
Second, A religion has a set of rules to be conducted at specific time, specific day, specific year, as tradition, while Christianity as a personal relationship doesn't have that set of rules.
Communion is something a Christian should cherish and celebrate, to remember the dead of the Lord, but there were no specific hour, date, and frequency stated on the Bible.
Christmas and Easter, also initially weren't Christianity tradition. There was no obligation or rules to celebrate the birth of Jesus and the Dead of Jesus in the Bible except communion that can be done anytime, anywhere. Christmas , in 25th Dec, initially was a winter celebration to worship pagans, as well as Easter in April as worship of the God of fertility. That's why Easter use Bunny Rabity as the simbol of fertility. It became a Christian tradition because long time ago the king turned from paganism into Christian, so he changed 25th Dec, into celebration of the birth of Jesus, and April as a celebration of the resurection of Jesus.
Third,A religion has a specific langguage to be used to pray, and to read the holly book. Arabic for Islam, Sankrit for Budhist and Hindie, While in Christianity, a christian may pray , sing and read Bible in almost every langguage in the world as Jesus can be touched by everybody and understand every language.
Back to the question, a Christian does belive that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Therefore, a Christian will do their best to tell other people about Jesus . To erase Christianity is something impossible, as Christian is not a religion and their source of believe, Jesus, can't be compromised.

Because we must.......It's like the song we learned in Sunday school goes " This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine!"
We are commanded by Christ to "let our light shine before all men" ( I'm SOOO sorry I'm not sure which passage that's from off the top of my head)
And for me to be told " I didn't know you were a Christian?!" is an insult to my God. Let his glory spill forth from my lips at all times so ALL of mankind knows I AM a Christian
God Bless

yes i think we would be better of without religion and replace it with personal morals, principles and ethics, which will never happen.unfortunately most ppl dont want to take reponsability for thier own morals principles and ethics it's easier to just do what you want to do and then point the finger at someone else for any repercussions.and i dont think christians have much chance of convincing the more zealous religions of anything.i've never heard of any christian or catholic flying planes into buildings or strapping bombs to their bodies with the sole purpose of killing innocent ppl just because of their religous beliefs?

Nope, there are people who will always reject Jesus Christ. If they choose not to believe, we can't force them to. They have to take responsibility when Jesus confronts unbelievers when they die. They won't be able to say, "No one ever told me about You!"

Why care!
people have thier own religion today! like the ones that celebs are all about! kabala???? so its a personal thing! relgion should be in the heart of a person it shouldnt be something that people fight about! I think if god knew that we are going to create fights over religions and prophets he would have never create us freaks!

i dont think anyone is trying to convince anyone.
a christian is commissioned to preach the gospel wherever he goes irrespective of whether people believe or not.
it he comes across as too persuasive, i think its a personal trait and not commanded by the Lord.
