Oh definitely personality for the long haul! The "packaging" has to be somewhat attractive, but personality makes an average guy just standout in a crowd. And if he's intelligent without being snobby, and a wicked sense of humour, I phuc him bent over the hood of a taxi in the middle of Times Square.
The real "pretty boys" are sooooooooo stuck on themselves, and usually have "shyt for brains". Shallow.

Looks... I know that sounds shallow but I wouldn't be with someone I'm not attracted to and I know a lot of people say looks don't matter but they are just afraid of looking shallow, if they had the choice to be with someone that was very good-looking or someone that was not so good-looking they would definatly pick the good looking one. But u have to have personality too no point being with someone if u can't have a good time with them. Looks attract but personality keeps the relationship going.

Your first impression is by your looks....
if the person sees you first time and you're looking undesirable then
he/she will not exced to know more about you.
Then comes personality which includes all other aspects of you as a person... your personality ; your confidence ; your mannerisms etc
So i would say both are inter related and both needs to be looked after thoroughly.

i personally prefer personality with a mixture of pleasant looking looks. i wouldn't want to go out with a guy who looks like the grinch just because he makes me laugh and i wouldn't want an extremely good looking guy who's full of himself. it's a delicate balance that shifts with different people. some like it more to personality some more to looks, for me i like it in the middle with the scale tipping slightly to the good looking side.

Definitely personality is the most important factor to me. There's nothing more attractive than a healthy self-image and having the confidence of knowing who you are!
