First off you need the sword, once you have acquired said sword, then as your saying "By the power of Greyskull" raise the sword up. Once it is fully extended over your head then you need yell "I have the power" as loud as you can. If this doesn't work, then drop some more acid and try again. Oops I forgot to mention that was the first step lol.

You have to do that when the animators are watching you...
Just look around the next time you want to and if you see the white box around you , then you are in the center of the animators screen.
They have a lot of stuff to draw, and sometimes they forget to look "outside the box".

Maybe it's because you are a Thundercat trapped in the wrong cartoon - try yelling "Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats Ho!" instead and see if that works.

You need both halves of the sword. Sounds to me like you only have one - you need to go get the other one from He-Man. You'll need something really cool in trade, though.
