I mean one resource that I can refer to from the moment I pick the puppy out to the time he is completely trained? Every time I search for this on the web, all I come across is behavior theory.

Cesar's Way by Cesar Millan

I have done a lot of dog training and read a lot of books about it and I have to say that this is one of the best books out there right now. His techniques are amazing and they definately work. It's all about the energy that you display toward the dog!

Good luck with the puppy!!

Go to the (akc.org) or check out in your area for a trainer. Some breed are harder to train than other. There are a lot of books on all types of training. check with your vet and see if he has any information of dog trainers.
