I hear that you can reduce your stress, level through deep breathing for a week, and then a wolverinelike-healing takes place. You actually backwards age to your prime! Just keep breathing deeply. You will forget. So remember.

I don't see how a time machine helps. I actually built one, but it's no fun if you're not immortal. Seeing your death sucks.

Cryostasis. Never die, but not actually 'live'. Eventually genetic engineering and macrotechnology will allow for cellular repair. Become a MASTER of your mind, then use the mind/body connection to defeat death. Just some thoughts.

Apparently eating very little will increase lifespan by 1.5 times (I read this off a news article is MSN, forgot the URL) in both animals in testing (IE mice) and humans. My outstanding question is was it the fact they ate less alone or the fact they learned/adapted to choose better nutrition for what they could eat to keep them from feeling hungry.
But, far as immorallity, I do not believe there is. Maybe there will far into the future, unfortunately, I have not heard a known way to painlessly or effectively say, freeze a living body (and all its processes) then bring it back to life at a time well into the future when there is a cure for aging.
As for me I just stick with a very strict and limited diet and rigorous exercise (mainly in 10k and half-marathon runs). And, so far, I am 26 and can tie or beat my high school personal records for nearly any distance over 400 meters and barely feel less energetic (although, no, I have not completely defied loss of energy that comes with age). So I've found even as I do get older, I still can feel and function like I am much younger with these tricks.

Slowing down the aging process in what way?
Generally speaking i'd recommend yoga, it's had some pretty awesome results. If not for only the stress relief alone.
I have a feeling you're talking about REALLY slowing down the aging process though. As dramatic as yoga results could be, I don't think it's as slow as what you want.

Yeah, Tom Cruise seem to think Scientology is the word of the day. Of course... hes totally nuts. Maybe look into that. Or, build a time machine. Simple, no?

Why would you want to? I wouldn't want to sit around on this earth and watch it waste away. As far as I know there is no way to make yourself immortal seeing as vampires do not really exist.
