Not me, but my great-grandmother did. She lived to tell the story. Not a negative one, but a positive one. She died at age 88 in 1996.

She was Chinese, living in China, and a buddhist at the time. Out of the blue, she was suddenly diagnosed with a mysterious illness, a fatal disease, and all of the Chinese doctors at the time said there was no cure and could not heal her. She only had 1 month to live. She fell into a deep coma during this time, and the locals were extremely superstitious and afraid, so they moved her to the firehouse at the back and abandoned her there, thinking she was bad luck or cursed by some evil spirits. Including her close relatives. Even her own daughters were not allowed to visit her, although my grandmother (who was 10 at the time and the oldest) went to visit her secretly. My great-grandmother reported that it was during this time in the coma that a man dressed all in white, with white robes and white hair - visited her in the coma. He said he was Jesus Christ and asked if she believed Him. She answered, "Yes, Lord" and instantly was healed and awoke from her coma. It was at that time that she became converted to Christianity, and she shared her personal testimony to others, telling them what had happened to her, and the amazing miracle of Jesus' healing and appearing to her. So does God exist? I can say with absolute certainty - YES!!! How can we know Him? We can know Him personally through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."John 14:6

i have read many books on NDEs
and out of thousands of reports , only a handful have experienced a negative .. and even these have not been consistent enough to prove that there is such a hellish place
whereas the reports on a spiritual place seem to be more consistent with each other
so either there is a hell .... but very very few people go there
or there isnt a hell and these handful of cases have been lack of oxygen triggered experiences

Hellish close to dying reports make up only approximately 3 p.c. of all NDEs. those reports have an analogous result on the experiencer and helpful reports do. they alter people's lives for the extra powerful. i think that those detrimental reports are introduced on by utilising great worry on the part of the experiencer. My suggestion in case you finally end up in this variety of situation is to invite for help from the gentle of God. help will come rapidly. do no longer worry hell, that's no longer a place God makes use of to punish people, God does not punish absolutely everyone. learn how to love others.

the scientific explanation is that NDEs are actually the brain activity of a mind that is aware that it is dying. Like dreams, which "process" our subconscious world, NDEs may be the same process for the dying self. It's scary alright, but hey, whaddya gonna do?

There's no reason whatsoever to see anything mystical, supernatural or otherwise wacky in this.

No, I haven't, but there is a book "The Soul after Death" by Fr. Seraphim Rose, that deals with this issue. There have been many such occurrences.
