Masturbation is OK, but try not to do it near your friends. That's not cool. You should try to do it in the privacy of noone else but you.

It natural because the desires of sex starts at a very young age and one gets marriage long after that, until that time one requires an outlet and in the west people go on for dating whereas in east and asian countries marriage is the gateway for sex and hence people are forced to mastrubate to ease their tension. Mastrubation is more among males because biologically there desire is uncontrollable unlike females whose desires ignite only when there are spurred.
