Anyone have any idea how much weight it would be possible to loose over 3 weeks of eating healthily/boderline detox (no refined carbs or sugars, cutting out caffiene etc) and doing 30mins aerobic exercise each day plus a 20min yoga session each day?

when people put weight on it happens over a long period so i would think it should be lost over a long period as the skin is stretched so you should give it the time for it to shrink back if it does do that fat is a bodies way of storing food for lean times . but as there are not the shortage of food s now in most country people are eating more. it is easy to loss the weight but keeping it off is the problem.

Charli - dieting makes you fat - you should know that by now. You should eat very few refined carbs or sugars anyway, and not too much fat, at least 5 pieces of fruit or veg daily - but you know all this. What happens after the 3 weeks are up ? You start back on the junk, your body thinks the famine is over, starts laying down stores of fat for the next food shortage and the weight goes on again...

Eat right all the time, have the occasional treat, don't deprive yourself and exercise regularly (get a pedometer, walk as much as poss) Eat modest portions and avoid second helpings if you can. Dieting makes you fat.

About 3-4 pounds. A healthy way to lose weight - go for it.

I lost 30 kilo grams in 6 weeks. I stopped eating sweets, cakes, potatoes and bread.

I ate a healthy breakfast of yogurt and fruit. Had a sandwich and a fruit for lunch, and then a very small evening meal. Drink alot of water, as this cleanses you and stops you retaining water. Go for it! And remember, you should always eat this way, in order to retain your weight and stay healthy.

in 3 weeks you are not likely to lose much more than 10 pounds, and if you are able to lose that much weight in three weeks I suggest a visit to your doctor.

3-6 lbs, if you're talking about fat. That's the healthiest amount you can lose per week, 2 lbs. If you lose anymore than that, you're probably losing water, which you'll just gain right back

It will depend on how heavy you are in the first place. Bigger people will lose a lot quicker than smaller people.

How much do you weigh now?
