a mother has 4 children and 5 oranges. how can she divide them equally amongst her children?

Well I have thought about this one for a minute. Of course the mother can give each child one whole orange. That is a given. The question is what to do with the other orange to make it even and without her consuming it. My answer for that is, she peels the orange and gives each child a quarter of it. The key is peeling it and not cutting..... since an orange can be divided by its natural sections. Soooo I don't know if that is the answer you were looking for but it was the best solution I could come up with.
