Now days way to long. I think blame can be tossed to prosecutors as well as defense attorneys. Money being brought into play like it is doesn't speed things up any more either...

that just dont make any sense.
speedy trial refers to the legnth in which it takes them to make a ruleing.. rather than making you sit and wait for an answer and sit in jail for a year or wtver
