Friend, That is something that God would not do now, Everyone tries to figure God out & try to get Christians, minds confussed, friend here is one mind that will not be confused, I am not a novice in serving God, Almost 37 yrs, I think I should know a little something, & one thing is you all like to try to throw a hypotheical question out there hoping someone that does not have enough knowledge will take it hook & sinker. Your own Question is not scripture, God told Abraham to take his SON & slaughter him as a test toward Abraham, Only ONE SON That is also That type of The SON of God that was offered up for us, Jesus Christ. Now do you want to see your own error in your uestion, you say if God told us to kill (your) children In that term you are looking at all your kids & not just the Son., But now to ease your confussed little mind, I am authorized by God to protect my family & I will protect them. Oh, do you want some scriptures for that also, I can give it.

Unfortunately it's a request I don't think I could fulfil from a mothers point of view but then on the other hand if my faith in God was as strong as Abraham I would possibly obey without question as my faith would tell me that God's reason for this would be to test my faith.

Yes, it is God's command. Abraham killed his child for God, and his child accepted willingly God's orders. Of course, God wouldn't order stuff like that anymore.

Yep. If He leads me to something, He has a way out for me. From this trial comes the great testimony of Jehovah Jireh. It's not in the easy things we see miracles but in the unpleasant stony and thorny parts of our journey

i would not because god said in revelation "if anyone else are to give any other commandments than the ones i have given you even if by an angel of light, do not believe them." and since god does not tell us to kill our children in the bible i would not do it.

Firstly God didn't intend for Abraham to kill his son - it was a test. Isaac was never killed - God stayed Abraham's hand before he could kill Isaac.
God is love and as such I believe tah tGod would never tell us to hurt anyone, least of all our own children

People have abortions every day because they are not willing to accept the responsibility to be a parent or because a child would not fit into their schedule. For someone to sacrifice a child because GOD told them to would be a moral step upwards.
