dream topping is a powder that you add to milk and whisk to make a cream. Is there any other ways of making cream for cake, jelly and desserts

I make merangue instead. Chill your bowl & beaters, separate your egg whites, beat them until peaks form & add sugar continuing to beat until peaks are stiff. I personally most of the time just use cool whip & beat it until stiffer.

Why not just have whipped cream, you can add some sugar if you want it sweeter. Much nicer and no 'chemical' flavours
