A week is a long time, especially if you have a small body mass. Are you able to keep your electrolytes up and avoid dehydration with Gatorade at least/
Hon, this is serious, not to mention really hell on your entire body and spirits.
Go to an enterologist, or at least a Dr. who is more skilled at listening. You need to be taken seriously, and sometimes bringing a parent or other older advocate to the apt. can do wonders for the type of treatment you receive. If you are up to it, do as much research as possible on WebMD and other reputable sites.
This is important to get ahold of this, dehydration being of primary concern, plus detecting any hidden, weird virus.
Have you been in the presence of any world travelers in recent weeks, anyone at all from another part of the globe. If so, mention that to the Dr., many things that these people are vaccinated against or have natural immunity to can still be carried & contagious to others even if they themselves are not sick.
Done any traveling on an airline or cruise ship in recent weeks?
If the Dr. has some ideas of potential exposures, he will be more likely to look for germs that he might not otherwise consider, and then be able to treat you and send you on your way feeling much better.
Best wishes and a prayer for some definitive answers and speedy recovery, you sound miserable.

Actually, the flu is NOT usually manifested with nausea and vomiting or stomach cramps. Chances are, you have a case of gastroenteritis, which is inflammation/irritation of the lining of your stomach and small intestine - it's usually related to food poisoning or a virus. You need to see a different doctor, because by this point you're probably dehydrated and you REALLY need some medications for nausea.
