What a load of garbage people talk.
The foreskin is there to keep the penis, safe and clean - if it's washed on a regular basis there is no difference in terms of hygeine.
The only real benefit to having no foreskin is that it reduces the spread of AIDS if you practice unsafe sexual practices.
Duh!

It really has nothing to do with the condition of the penis but the bathing practices of the man. Both an intact and circumcised penis will gather "smega", which is just dead skin cells, and create an odor if not cleaned. Even women produce smegma. The foreskin equivalent in the woman is the clitoral hood. It also collects dead skin cells and odor if not washed daily.
If you've ever been near the crotch of a grown man after a long day at work or out playing sports, you'll know that they both stink - both the uncut & cut. Just a little shower and they are fresh as a daisy!!!

All the males in my family are not circumcised, my husband and two boys aged 10 and 6 are not. None of them have ever had an infection. If you wash properly there is no risk. Why cut off something you child was born with, it is medically an unnecessary procedure. I've heard of boys getting an infection after circumcised.

None of my boys are circumsized (11, 5, 3), and it's never been a problem for any of them...no infections, no smell, etc. It's quite easy to care for, because the body naturally pulls the skin back as they age. There is no necessary cleaning before that occurs, because the tissue is still attached.
.My husband also is intact, and after 15 years of marriage I can assure you that all is well on that front ;-)

I have a baby boy and was eager to have him circumcised also. But after doing many online research and talking to his pediatrician (Thank God we chose him!!!), we didn't. His pedi completely objected to it, though he would still do it. But he kept explaining to us that it doesn't affect his future health at all. Finally he said, "God created the foreskin for some reason." Only then I realized it's TRUE!
UTI has nothing to do with being circumcised or not. The important thing is, you keep his genital clean. And when he's able to do it himself, you teach him how to do it the right way.
Only 2 days ago I found these sites accidentally, which made me more thankful not to do that to my son!

YES, definetely. Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.
Some more info on circumcision. Keep reading...
CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.
About STD's:
As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://icuxbridge.icnetwork.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14095142&method=full&siteid=53340&headline=-circumcision-protects-against-aids--name_page.html
As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html
About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:
No medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm
Circumcision is an easy and nowadays *painless* procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.
Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.
Finally, this site has a lot of useful and *unbiased* information. Make sure you have a good look: http://www.circinfo.net

Being intact is the normal, natural state.
All they have to do to keep it clean is to pull back the foreskin and rinse with water, not a big deal at all. (And DO NOT try to retract it yourself.....at first it's attached like your fingernails. This keeps any nastiness from the diaper out. When he is about school age, a boy will be able to retract it himself.) The care required is very much like a woman's labia.....you wouldn't want to use harsh soaps and such there either.

It's abut the same. The medical world says that at this point circumcision is performed so that the sons will look like his fathers. There are religious reasons too. But daily bathing tends to be an equalizer.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.
Luckly there is a cure for herpes https://tr.im/9ba52

My son was circumsised when he was 10 days old & he is completely fine now. Whereas the intact penis can collect residue of smegma or urine since they are in diapers & create infections.
Better to get it done when they are really tiny.

i'd say in accordance with all obtainable practise that there are more beneficial reward (contained in the excitement branch) to being left intact that being circumcised. There doesn't look any doubt about that, the question is merely how a lot this impacts sexual excitement. i imagine in effortless words someone who were given circumcised as an grownup ought to assert for particular. yet from the study that i have carried out, it type of feels that sexual excitement is more beneficial for men and females at the same time as the guy nevertheless has his foreskin intact and that in effortless words makes considering that because logically that area could be there for a reason!
