dice up a large onion, and brown in a heavy bottomed pan with butter, and a drop of lemon juice.
add the mince to the pan, and brown, with seasoning (salt and pepper, and a hint of dried coriander, and oregarnio.
when browned off, add a little stock, and simmer for a few minutes, add a pinch of smoked paprika, and a small pich of chilli powder. reduce the liquid, and finally add chopped tomatoed, and some fresh coriander to the mix, warm through. remove from heat and add one small square of 80% cocco dark choch, and stir into mix, and serve, ideally over a large baked potatoe, or with wild rice.

Spag bol, cottage pie, home made burgers (the best!), chilli con carne, mince and onions (with a little red wine for the sauce), beef curry, meat balls (really nice with finely chopped green peppers and cooked in a tomato sauce). You could even do lasagne or a beef version of moussaka.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
happy cooking!

Chop and onion and a pepper and fry lightly in oil. Add your favourite curry paste or powder, in whatever quantity you like.
Brown the mince, add the onions and peppers, 2 x tins of chopped tomatoes, some halved baby potatoes and some frozen peas.. You can add a little water as well if you like.
Simmer until the mine is tender, and the potatoes cooked through, I like to cook mine for a long time, at least 2 hours. Season to taste.

Fry mince with onions ,add curry powder, ginger and corriander. Put into a cassrole dish! press mince mixture down well. Make a custard mixture of two cups of milk and two eggs, beat well. Pour slowly over the top of the mince, and bake for about half an hour. Make up another custard mixture and pour that over as well. Serve with yellow rice and raisins. Its a traditional South African Dish!
