Be sneaky! Not having a job is hell, so make sure you have one that you can get into as soon as you've quit this one at Dillard's. Have a job on hold and then do whatever you like! It sounds like your boss really isn't being fair, so yeah, quit. Do whatever, call her whatever, just don't go over the top! You don't want abuse as a bad point on your job form, so quit. Just make sure you have a job you can run to afterwards, you don't wanna be unemployed.
Hope this has helped a little! Good Luck! x

Go to the manager, even if they are friends. Tell you, you feel you are being treated differenly because of your race.
Otherwise you can't really do anything because of her giving you "Dirty looks". She would actually have to do or say somethign to you deliberatly before you could threaten to sue or anything. Just stay there if you want to, and maybe just to go the supervisor. If not, get a new job. I wouldnt curse her off though, thats not very classy and suits the stereotypical "black" behavior.

I would send in a written, signed complaint from you and your friend/co-worker,to your bosses boss(or the next above.)Tell them you made copies of it and sent it to the regional and national headquaters(and do that ,too). So if anything more happens, you will have it legally bound and written on paper. This should do the trick.Good luck.(You must supply specific cases in which you an/or your friend felt discriminated against.)
